Based on a existing Linux driver a
WDF driver for a PCI radar interface card for Windows XP and
Windows 7 was developed. Using DMA a DSP sends radar data with
high transfer rate in a ring buffer. On requests by applications
the WDF driver copies the radar data from the ring buffer into the
user memory areas. An asynchronous interface and a parallel
request queue allow the handling of different requests at the same
time. The radar interface is used in modern navigation and
observation systems.
